How to Practice Gratitude Daily

It’s ALL good y’all - even when it isn’t - LIFE IS SO GOOD.

Anytime I have weird juju or anxiety, I always turn to #Gratitude to make it better.

Here’s my grateful heart works:

  • Left my car window open in the rain? I’m so grateful to have a car I didn’t buy off Craigslist (anymore).

  • Allergies turned to a Cold? So thankful for AZ weather that’s perfect 98% of the year & for a company that trusts me to GSD from home.

  • Ninja-moved my son to his own bed at 1:13AM so that he can come back by 3:30AM? How lucky am I to still be considered a place of safety & comfort + wake up to his cuddles

  • Stepped on a scale and thought “this must be broken...” ! Welp, 32 years was a good run, Waistline! Thanks to delicious food for giving me more reason to conquer these gorgeous mountains!

It’s not always easy & sometimes I’m sure I annoy people who aren’t on the same level. But I honestly believe in the magic of gratitude because I’ve seen how I used to be debilitated by challenges before vs. how I choose to see opportunities today.

A super simple way to start practicing gratitude daily is by taking 5-10 minutes a day and creating a short list of what you’re grateful for. It can be about yourself, the people you love, or things in your life - whatever comes to mind is fine, because it’s more about taking the moment to be aware & sit with it. Then just write it down, say it aloud, or send it to the people who need to hear it. And repeat daily.
